Launched in 2008, DISCOP AFRICA is the only pan-African industry gathering strictly dedicated to the production and distribution of multiscreen television content.
DISCOP AFRICA combines a market, a co-production forum and a training program offering unparalleled opportunities to buy and sell television content, initiate partnerships, access valuable information, connect with key players and learn from experts.
The 7th edition of DISCOP AFRICA will take place at the SANDTON CONVENTION CENTER in Johannesburg, one of Africa’s leading exhibition and convention center, from 31 October to 2 November.
The 3-day event will welcome 175 exhibiting SELLERS representing overseas and African sellers of popular and high-quality film, series, animation, comedy shows, formats, sports content, documentaries, educational programming as well as distributors of thematic channels.
With Africa’s digital migration deadlines fast approaching, exhibiting SELLERS will include a select group of international digital broadcasting and content management solutions providers ready to help position Africa’s multiscreen television content programming and production marketplace as a world-class digital destination.
