DISCOP WEST ASIA TO WELCOME 750+ DELEGATES

The 3rd edition of the DISCOP WEST ASIA digital content market and coproduction forum will take place from Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7 Mach, 2013, at the INTERCONTINENTAL CEYLAN HOTEL in Istanbul.

It will follow a second edition which reported a 25% overall increase in attendance in attendance over the previous year. The success of DISCOP WEST ASIA demonstrates the rebound of digital content production and distribution business across a world region that encompasses countries bordering part of the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Caucasus and Central Asia.

337 companies from 51 countries and a total of 628 delegates attended DISCOP WEST ASIA 2012, including 128 exhibiting companies selling content and 181 companies in Istanbul to acquire programs, formats and branded TV channels, a 32% jump in the number of West Asian broadcasters and thematic channels, cable/satellite/streaming platforms, mobile networks, territorial agents and other digital content buyers.

In this vibrant context, DISCOP WEST ASIA 2013 will attract 750+ delegates representing 450+ companies and an increased number of exhibitors, national pavilions and of country of origin. Focusing on digital content production and distribution business and partnerships in West Asia, the 2013, 3-day program will include:

  • A digital content market featuring 150+ international suppliers of programs, TV formats and branded TV channels as well as 100+ independent producers and distributors of content created in West Asia.
  • A conference program that will put a premium on:
    • Rising dramas co-production opportunities with Latin America

Participants can attend as EXHIBITING or NON-EXHIBITING delegates. Prices for exhibits (including of one seller market badge) only range from US$1,300 to US$7,250. Additional seller market badges cost US$650.
