For us Producers in Kenya…the tide is changing and it will change this year.  With the introduction of at least 16 new digital broadcasting stations in Kenya, the only cry now is…content…content...content !!!!  Kenya is asking for 40% local content so all stations are scrambling and are getting desperate.  Kenyan Producers are now in the unique position and for the very first time stations will be begging us for content that they were unwilling to buy before.  They will be commissioning content, as opposed to asking for finished products.  This can only be good for me and for other producers in the market.  We were also so proud to host DISCOP and can’t wait for you to come back next year to see what great progress we have made here in Kenya.  From here on in, it is onwards and forwards.
