DISCOP AFRICA 09

The first edition of DISCOP AFRICA will take place in Dakar from Wednesday 25 to Friday 27 February 2009 at the SOFITEL TERANGA Hotel. This three day event centred on the pre-organization of meetings between participants will combine:

• A high profile international conference focusing on the investment opportunities in African television stations.
• A dedicated market for African buyers in need of television content and suppliers of programs from all over the world – including from Africa! - with a clear understanding of the financial constraints of most African TV Stations.
• Screenings of innovative and easy to adapt television "formats" such as reality and game shows.
• Numerous social and networking events designed to encourage dialogue between delegates.

DISCOP AFRICA 09 will also be of interest to advertisers and advertising agencies ready to sponsor the acquisition of high-quality television programs and ready to get involved in syndication barter deals. A complete presentation kit with registration forms will be available shortly.

La première édition de DISCOP AFRICA se tiendra à Dakar du Mercredi 25 au Vendredi 27 février 2009 à l’hôtel SOFITEL TERANGA. Ces trois journées axées autour de l’organisation de rendez-vous entre participants comprendront :

• Une conférence de grande stature sur les opportunités d’investissements dans des chaînes de télévision Africaines.
• Une marché de programmes représentés par des fournisseurs internationaux et Africains de contenu qui tiendra compte des moyens financiers limités des chaînes de télévision Africaines.
• Des projections de nouveaux formats de jeux télévisés et de nouvelles émission dites de télé-réalité faciles à adapter.
• Un grand nombre de soirées, cocktails et autres réceptions destinées à rapprocher les différents participants.

DISCOP AFRICA 09 accueillera également annonceurs TV et agences de publicité intéressés par une revalorisation de la programmation télévisuelle en Afrique. Un programme détaillé ainsi que des formulaires d'enregistrement seront disponibles très prochainement.
