Broadcasting sports events in Francophone Africa is a major challenge, both from a savoir-faire and a financial point. Senegalese wrestling, a sport highly appreciated in the sub region, still does not benefit from it's public demand. Football, until the intervention of President Macky Sall in February 2017, constituted a very important part of national television channels' budget. Basketball, its competitions remains regularly absent from screens. In this context, where demand is greater than supply, how can television channels organize themselves to offer great sports content to their citizens? How to make sports a growth engine for public and local TV stations?
