With over 1.2 billion people, lower internet costs, rising mobile connectivity and the desire to improve the regulatory environment, Africa is the world’s fastest growing entertainment and media marketplace. We cover 55 African countries and help companies buy, sell and coproduce content. We also make sure deals are closed.
We deliver high-level connections, strategic networking opportunities and access to key players driving content business across the African continent.
To stay ahead of the curve, we organize two markets a year that bring leading entertainment brands as well as the widest selection of content ‘Made in Africa’. We help buyers source content online. We find production, funding and distribution partners for projects that can be shot in Africa. We also publish a biannual magazine covering Africa's television frontiers.
Our markets bring together content buyers, distributors and producers active in Africa. They are driven by pre-organized meetings set-up ahead of time by in-house experts. Each market offers sponsorship and co-branding opportunities for companies in need of extra visibility.

ABIDJAN | Launched in 2015, the Abidjan market specifically targets the 31 African countries where French is spoken as a first or second language. 576 delegates and 58 exhibitors representing 302 companies from 41 countries attended the 2018 edition. This is a ‘lead-generation service’ that helps right holders promote their content and explore new opportunities in Africa. All year round, buyers have access to a digital platform showcasing a wide and diverse variety of programs available for immediate delivery. These buyers can also interact via chat with ‘personal shoppers’ trained to answer basic questions and prepare the grounds for remote and face-to-face meetings with right holders.
This is a ‘representation service’ that helps seasoned producers with projects in development access key players in Africa. We shop partially funded projects to broadcasters, premium cable channels, mobile operators, streaming platforms, regional distributors, advertisers, talent agencies and financiers that could make a difference.
Published since 2012 twice a year to coincide with the Johannesburg and Abidjan markets, this magazine is handed to all delegates and then electronically mailed to members of the DISCOP community. The publication is considered throughout Africa as the industry's #1 Coffee Table magazine and offers great advertising opportunities
