ROUND TABLE | HOW TO STIMULATE FRANCOPHONE TELEVISUAL CREATION

This first round table will focus on the means to be deployed in order to stimulate and amplify the influence of televisual creation from the African Francophone world, which is a formidable pool of talent and entrepreneurs who invest, innovate, create jobs and take risks. How to help these creators from Africa and give them all the necessary assistance to amplify their influence on all of the Francophone territories, and not only in Africa.

ROUNDTABLE | CAN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SUB-SAHARAN AUDIOVISUAL INDUSTRY BE ACCELERATED BY “DIGITAL”?

Proposed by the Ministry of Communication, Digital Economy and Post of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, this roundtable will be centered on “digital” as a driver of growth in the production and broadcast of multi-screen audiovisual contents in Francophone Africa. Ready to respond to the challenges of the deployment and harnessing of “digital”, experts such as the spokespersons of a public channel, an advertising agency, a production company, a content carrier, a digital platform and a mobile operator will speak in this session.

OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY

Presided by the MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATION, DIGITAL ECONOMY and POST of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, the official opening ceremony will highlight the new audiovisual landscape of Côte d'Ivoire and new private television channels which have recently been authorized to broadcast on DTT, with the approval of the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HACA), as part of the first phase of the liberation of television in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

DIGITAL LAB AFRICA: FEEDBACK ON EXPERIENCE

Viewing of 5 winning projects from the first edition of "DIGITAL LAB AFRICA", selected at DISCOP JOHANNESBURG 2016. This session will focus on "Points", a logic game for PC and mobile, the winning project of the video game category developed by the Ivorian start-up WORKD which will be presented in its beta version at DISCOP ABIDJAN 2017.
